This week we are learning the -ain family words. My word is rain. I love rain. It is my favorite weather.

Yeyrlin Beetle

A new insect has been discovered. It is named Yeyrlin Beetle. This beetle has a brown head. It has a brown thorax. It has a black abdomen. It eats grass. It can only walk. Now, you know about the new Yeyrlin Beetle.

-ate Family Word

This week we learned -ate family words. My word is date. Today the date is April 12, 2012.

-ail Family

This week we learned -ail family words. My word is wail. My baby brother wails when he is by himself.

This week we are learning about the - ay family words. My word is May. May is a month of the year.

- est Word family

We learned - est words this week. My word is best. It means a big box that has gold inside It.Chest are fun because It has gold.

Insects

Insects have six legs. Some look like worms. Did you now that they drink apple juice? Insects live everywhere.

Cousins

I like to spend time with my cousins. Whenever I get back from school we play with my purple ball! It has a handle so what we do is to pretend it is a pony! Then after that we go eat. When we eat we play. I like being with my cousins!

-ing Family

I learned about the -ing family. My word is wring. It means when you squeeze something. When we cleaned the clothes and got them out. We wring the clothse.

- ock Word Family

This week we learned -ock words. My word is crock. It means a jar. I put water in my crock.

Symmetry

I created symmetry with pattern blocks. To do symmetry, I did a face of an animal and I put a pencil to the side. I put the same face of the animal on the other side of the pencil.
